OUR HISTORY

Paula and John Reardon purchased Compliments to the Chef from Dave and Andrea LaFrance in July of 2004 and have enjoyed selling over 6000 high quality cookware items to our Foodie Friends ever since.  Our son was 13 and our daughter had just turned 11 years old and they fit right in to our Foodie Team.  If you ask our son or daughter to cook up a special dish, you’ll see a gleam in their eyes!  They will however insist on the right tools to do the job! 

Every year we have searched far and wide to provide the finest, most innovative tools in the industry.  We have brought Saratoga Springs cooking lines such as All-Clad, LeCreuset, Wusthof, Henckels and Shun. In the last 11 years, we have brought in many new lines due to customer suggestions! Nespresso coffee makers and Kikuichi Knives are just two of our big successes.  Cutting boards and tools by Saratoga Springs artist and resident, Adam Cielinski, as well as Sundaes Best Hot Fudge, are a couple of the locally made products that we are most proud of!  We sharpen knives for tourists, locals, and Chefs!  For the past five years we have been featured in the weekly local paper, The Saratoga Today, where we communicate recipes and stories of the kitchen table to our Foodie Friends!
